A proposal photographer must be completely invisible until the exact second the ring appears. Get that wrong and you don't just lose the photos; you lose the surprise itself. So everything about how I work is built around your partner never suspecting a thing.

It starts with the disguise — or rather, the absence of one. In Mauritius, the most invisible person on any beach is a tourist with a camera. I arrive at your chosen spot 20 to 30 minutes before you do, dressed like any visitor, photographing the sunset, the fishing boats, the mountain — whatever a tourist would shoot. I scout the exact light, pick my position at a natural distance, and pre-frame the spot where you'll stop walking. When you and your partner stroll into view, I am simply part of the scenery.

Then there is the signal system. Before the day, we agree on everything over WhatsApp: the precise spot (I'll send you a pin and a reference photo), your walking route, your arrival window, and the cue. On the day I message you live — "I'm in position", "light is perfect, come now" — and from the moment you appear I'm already shooting.
